Jamestown - Mid North Region, South Australia.

Jamestown is an apparently flourishing town which serves the local farming and forestry community. It is also the organising force behind the bi-annual Bundaleer Forest Concert Weekend, when art meets the forest. It is reputed that the town was named after the then Governor Sir James Ferguson, by himself, in 1871. Scottish names abound in this solid town.
