Naracoorte - South East Region, South Australia.

Naracoorte was proclaimed in 1859 but the name is of uncertain origin. The nearby Naracoorte Caves include a World Heritage-listed fossil cave, while the heavily-wooded Caves National Park is well worth a visit even if you don't like caves. The central park in the middle of the main street offers a very pleasant venue for a cup of coffee and a cake.
