Dingley Dell is celebrated as the one-time home of the bush poet and horseman, Adam Lindsay Gordon, he who wrote "Life is mostly froth and bubble, two things stand like stone, kindness in another's trouble, courage in your own". The cottage is well maintained and has beautiful grounds and gardens.
